Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a Road Import/Export Executive based near Staines.

Roles Involves:

  • Ensure work is undertaken and actioned from start to finish on all GB/EU Road bookings, Import, Export, Cross trade, Domestic, Courier shipments.
  • Provide high level of customer service and ensure client specific requirements are met.
  • Communicate with hauliers daily.
  • Communicate with Foreign partners/suppliers daily.
  • Communicate with the sales department and alternate WCL offices when required.
  • Create Transport, collection and delivery notes.
  • Implementing insurance cover when requested.
  • Create packing lists when required.
  • Quoting clients depending on service.
  • Invoicing.
  • Assist with queries, claims and other general enquiries.
  • Data and POD entry.
  • Ensure all appropriate shipping documentation is obtained for clearance processes to be arranged for a timely and accurate crossing over the channels.

Skills required:

  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Road Import/ Export experience
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident and organised.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, Box Top experience advantage.
  • Team player.
  • General knowledge of various modes of transport desirable.
  • Understanding of T1’s and customs processes for both Import/ Export procedures desirable.
  • Understanding of EUR1’s, certificate of Origins, Carnets desirable.

Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

Salary depends on experience.
