Job Description
We are looking for an Operations team leader to join a small Frowarder.
Job Summary:
As a Operations Team Leader at FSL, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-
day operations of the freight forwarding team, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation processes, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, including time critical jobs.
You will lead a team of professionals, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure that all shipments are handled in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain
management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role or experience
handling time critical movements or AOG's. Aerospace and Aviation experience a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications:
·Experience with both import and export operations.
·Familiarity with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipping & DG.
Hours: Mon-Fri (9am – 17.30) with weekday coverage and weekends on a rota basis.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
