Ocean Export Supervsior

Our client close to Heathrow is looking for an Ocean Export Supervisor. Tasks and Duties • Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the DLSOP • Review and support with day-to-day quotations. • Plan and support with huddles and monthly meetings to discuss market intelligence and delegate workloads within the team. • Take an active role in the transition of new business/ updates to existing business. • Grow department Revenue in line with District budget target and management expectations. • Support all compliance efforts and trainings. • Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas to improve efficiency. • Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into the department. • Be involved and suggest system/process improvements. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors (Shipping lines, trucking companies, and others) • Assist the Manager with EPE’s on the department in line with the 3+1 Initiatives. • Assist the Manager with goal setting and monitoring development for key staff. What skills and qualifications you need • College/University or equivalent business qualifications • Previous Oceanfreight Export Supervisory experience • Strong planning and organizing skills • Conflict resolution • Listening skills • Providing feedback • Teamwork • Building team environment • Coaching for development • Customer focus • Managing meetings • Problem solving • Process improvement • Time management • Software proficiency skills (e.g., MS Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables, MS Word) • English language proficiency • Global Logistics Industry knowledge The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm Salary based on experience * We are only able to accept applications from candidates with previous experience for this role.
