This role will be based within a customer's premises in Nantgarw, Wales. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract that could become a permanent role, with a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

We are currently working with a Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation, who are seeking to recruit an experienced Airfreight Import/Export Operator. The role is a full-time position within a busy and efficient Airfreight Import/Export department, responsible for handling all elements of Airfreight Imports/Exports for global shipments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing an Import/Export Airfreight file from start to finish
  • Execution of courier files
  • Labelling cargo
  • Liaising with airlines and making reservations
  • Arranging collections and deliveries
  • Raising and producing all Airfreight Export Documentation
  • Completing Export Customs Entries
  • Raising invoices and billing out
  • Resolving any customer service issues which may arise throughout the shipment

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AND 5 YEAR CHECKABLE WORK HISTORY IS REQUIRED.

We are seeking an experienced Airfreight Import/Export operator who has gained hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations and is conversant in all aspects of freight Imports/Exports.
