We are looking for a dedicated Class 1 Driver / Driver Operative to support our logistics team for Formula 1 events across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for motorsports with your driving expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities:
- During European F1 Events (May to September):
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Drive to and from European race circuits.
- Be away for up to 3 weeks per event (between May and September).
- Perform manual handling of equipment.
- Ensure time-sensitive deliveries are completed on schedule.
- Work as part of a small, dedicated team, assisting with various contracts as needed.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate admin and paperwork.
- Foster face-to-face relationships with customers at events.
- Manage day-to-day tasks within the logistics and transport team.
- Adapt to changing schedules and maintain calm under pressure.
- Be flexible with working times, including shifts, weekends, and night shifts.
- Work closely with transport planners and communicate effectively with customers.
- Maintain compliance with DVSA, EU, UK & WTD regulations.
- Ensure a strong focus on Health & Safety, both on the road and in the workplace.
- Gain awareness of aviation security regulations, with training provided.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- HGV Class 1 License (Essential).
- Forklift License (Preferred but not required).
- ADR License (Preferred but not required).
- Ability to travel to European events, with potential for solo travel.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and overtime.
- Must be able to provide a checkable 5-year work history.
- Awareness and compliance with DVSA/EU/UK regulations.
- DBS will need to be applied.
Hours: 228 annualized days contract. Basic salary Β£40,000 plus perks plus more....! O/T and expenses paid.
