Our client, based near Heathrow, is looking for an experienced 360 Machine Operative to join their team.
Shift: Monday- Friday
Hours: 5:00pm- 6:00am
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Job Purpose
As a 360 Machine Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient site operations by:
- Ensuring in-feed materials are consistently and evenly fed into the Metso shredder to maximise production
- Blending materials appropriately before loading into the shredder
- Identifying and removing oversized, hazardous, or unsuitable items prior to processing
- Keeping the tipping hall clear and organised by managing waste stock effectively
- Maintaining both the 360 Materials Handler and Metso shredder to a high standard
- Identifying and reporting unsuitable or problematic waste deliveries
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily mobile plant maintenance checks for both the 360 and shredder
- Keep the machine and cab clean and well maintained
- Ensure all equipment is refuelled (Diesel and AdBlue) at the end of each shift
- Clean filters and radiators in preparation for the next shift
- Report throughput issues and assist with resolving blockages
- Carry out Fire Watch duties during shift operations
End of Shift Requirements
All operatives must leave equipment in a clean and operational condition, including:
- Refuelling (Diesel & AdBlue)
- Checking engine and hydraulic oils
- Greasing the machine
- Cleaning filters, radiators, and cab
Additional Information
- Operatives may be required to use other plant machinery if appropriately certified
- When machinery is not in use, you will be expected to assist with other site duties
- Weekend work will be required on a rota basis for loading operations
