We are currently recruiting for LGV 2 Security drivers to work for our customer, who are a leading name within the high value transportation of goods and services. The main role is to ensure the safe and secure transport of high value and sensitive goods throughout the U.K.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing pickups and deliveries of high value shipments
- Maintaining high standard of work at trade shows and special events
- Loading and unloading the armoured vehicle
- Ensuring the safety and protection of assets at all times
- Providing an excellent level of customer service at all times
- Respecting and following the company’s guidelines and procedures
- Driving an armoured vehicle and following road safety regulations
- Maintaining a high level of vigilance at all times
- Completing daily reports and checks of the vehicle
- Carrying out other ad-hoc duties as requested
Key Skills/Requirements
- Must hold a Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Holding an SIA licence is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent ethics and integrity
- High attention to detail

- Professional positive demeanour
To comply with Drivers Negligence insurance, the successful applicant will need to be 25 years or older, have at least 180 days driving experience in this class of vehicle in the last 2 years. This role requires references to be provided for the last 5 years as well as a successful DBS check.
In return we can offer a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience plus overtime (1.5 x hourly rate), rising after a successful probation period. Hours vary from early shifts starting from 06:00am and the latest finish being 22:00pm depending on the needs of the business. Overtime opportunities available. Optional weekend work at enhanced rate.
