External Sales Executive required to join this GSA locally based close to LHR. Strong Airline/GSA Sales background required.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for quotations and enquiries for ad-hoc business.
- Identify sales opportunities.
- Profile all new business to understand intricately how we can support with our airline clients.
- Generate new sales, linked directly to our airline client database and tools provided.
- Focus and drive to achieve targets set to the sales department.
- Respond to incoming enquiries via telephone and email.
- Effectively record, manage and develop opportunities.
- Source your own business leads and act on those provided by Sales, Operations and Reservations colleagues as well as using other tools given.
- Responsible for direct and telephone sales, visiting and maintaining our major customers, able to negotiate at Managing Director level and empathise with ground floor staff.
- Consult with clients to understand their overall business and specifically their logistics goals, and then design customized shipping solutions based on those needs.
