Our client is looking for an experienced LGV 2 Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their expanding team 4 On 4 Off Day shifts with flexible start times between 08.00 β 10.00 You will be responsible for performing various tasks within the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders, building customs records and inhouse data base. is a crucial role in the efficient handling and storage of perishable goods within the warehouse facility. The responsibilities include ensuring proper handling, storage, and shipment of perishable items to maintain freshness and quality standards. Duties Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against air waybill numbers. Unload and inspect goods for damage or defects, reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Properly store perishable items in designated temperature-controlled areas, ensuring compliance with storage requirements. Utilise warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, stack, and organise materials as needed. Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies. Keep warehouse clean and organised, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring products are handled safely and securely. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality targets. Ensure accurate documentation and labelling of shipments to comply with regulatory requirements. Coordinate efficient delivery of perishable items to customers or distribution centres. Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
