Export Gateway/Consol clerk required to join this medium sized agent. Monday to Friday 9-5.30.
Candidate ideally will have previous experience within Gateway operations. Successful candidate will be joining the export consolidation team to arrange international shipments to ensure timely dispatch of air exports and ensuring negotiations are cost effective in order to maximize profits whilst still adding value for the clients.
Duties to include:
- Process bookings
- Accurately complete all export documentation
- Building rapport with customers
- Working as a team and under minimal supervision
- The successful applicant will be able to prioritize their workload effectively.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Previous experience in Air Freight Forwarding
- Previous knowledge of export procedures
- Knowledge of freight industry security processes and DfT/CAA, HMRC & IATA regulations
- Knowledge of airline routes
- Excellent Communication and customer service skills
- Excellent IT skills
