The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist high-value goods freight forwarder based in the Heathrow area for an experienced Air Import/Export Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist operation handling high-value, time-critical and sensitive shipments, where attention to detail, customer service and operational expertise are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Air Import and Export shipments from start to finish.
- Coordinate bookings, collections, deliveries and international movements.
- Complete and check relevant customs documentation and CDS entries.
- Liaise with airlines, agents, hauliers and customers.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
- Provide regular updates to customers and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure all shipments are handled securely, accurately and within required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal freight systems.
