We are working with an established agent who is looking to recruit an Ocean Import Operator. The role involves:
- Completion of end-to-end Ocean Import forwarding activities.
- Following strict and time-sensitive SOPs/KPIs to ensure compliance.
- Working closely with internal and external customers, focusing on customer service.
- Using Next Gen/MS Office as requested.
- Ensuring timely invoicing, job costing, Customs Entries, and milestone updates using NextGen/MS Office within the required timeframe.
- Supporting month-end department compliance and cost control.
- Preparing and submitting internal and customer-specific reports within deadlines.
- Resolving customer and supplier queries promptly.
- Assisting senior forwarders, Supervisor, and line manager where required.
- Ensuring all reports, including internal and customer-specific, are completed within the deadline.
- Adopting Best Practices and supporting rates reviews with the Operations Manager.
- Maintaining customer relationships and participating in customer reviews and development initiatives.
