We are working with an established agent who is looking to recruit an Ocean Import Operator. The role involves:

  • Completion of end-to-end Ocean Import forwarding activities.
  • Following strict and time-sensitive SOPs/KPIs to ensure compliance.
  • Working closely with internal and external customers, focusing on customer service.
  • Using Next Gen/MS Office as requested.
  • Ensuring timely invoicing, job costing, Customs Entries, and milestone updates using NextGen/MS Office within the required timeframe.
  • Supporting month-end department compliance and cost control.
  • Preparing and submitting internal and customer-specific reports within deadlines.
  • Resolving customer and supplier queries promptly.
  • Assisting senior forwarders, Supervisor, and line manager where required.
  • Ensuring all reports, including internal and customer-specific, are completed within the deadline.
  • Adopting Best Practices and supporting rates reviews with the Operations Manager.
  • Maintaining customer relationships and participating in customer reviews and development initiatives.
