Operations Manager

A growing logistics business based near Heathrow is looking for a capable and commercially minded Branch Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our freight forwarding operation.

You'll manage a team of ten covering both imports and exports across air and sea - overseeing the full shipment lifecycle and ensuring smooth, high-quality service for our customers. Working directly alongside the business owner, you'll also have input into P&L, helping to shape the commercial direction of the company. It's a broad, senior role that suits someone who's equally comfortable on the operations floor and in a strategic conversation.

What we're looking for:
Proven experience managing teams in a freight forwarding or logistics environment
Strong knowledge of air and sea imports and exports, start to finish
Commercially aware, with experience of or exposure to P&L responsibility
Confident leader with excellent customer service instincts
Sequoia CDS experience advantageous
Full UK driving licence required

The details:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm (some flexibility required)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + performance bonus
