Our client close to Heathrow is looking for a Deputy Team Leader in Stores & Despatch.
This is a hands-on role. You will be involved in the day-to-day work while helping keep things organised, accurate, and running as they should. You will also step in for the Team Leader when needed.
The job:
- Book in goods, put stock away, pick orders, and support despatch
- Keep stock accurate in the system (ERP/MRP)
- Help run stock checks and sort out any discrepancies
- Step up and run the department when the Team Leader is off
- Support the team and keep work flowing on a daily basis
- Make sure goods are packed and shipped correctly
- Spot issues and help improve how things are done
What you’ll need:
- Experience in a stores/warehouse role (manufacturing preferred)
- Comfortable using systems and Excel
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Organised, reliable, and willing to get stuck in
- Able to work with different teams and communicate clearly
Other important bits:
- We work to ISO 9001 standards, so doing things properly and keeping quality high is part of the job.
- The hours are Monday to Friday 7.45am to 4.30pm
- Salary £33,500 basic plus monthly bonuses.
- Excellent benefits package.
