About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Control Tower Support position on behalf of a busy and growing freight company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience and knowledge of CargoWise to join a fast‑paced logistics environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers, coordinating shipments and assisting with the day‑to‑day running of two key client accounts, ensuring a high level of service is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service to clients via phone and email
  • Supporting the Control Tower team with daily freight operations
  • Assisting with the day‑to‑day management of two key client accounts
  • Updating and maintaining shipment information using CargoWise
  • Monitoring shipments and ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the process
  • Handling customer queries and resolving issues efficiently
  • Liaising with internal departments, suppliers, and transport partners
  • Managing multiple tasks and prioritising workloads effectively
  • Ensuring all administration and system updates are completed accurately

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience within freight/logistics is preferred
  • Working knowledge of CargoWise is essential
  • Strong general computer skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work
