We are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Manufacturing Sales Co-ordinator to join our established and successful team in Cradley Heath.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills, ideally gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Working closely with our Business Development Manager and internal departments, you will play a key role in managing customer enquiries, producing quotations, and ensuring a smooth sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation submission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and acknowledge customer sales enquiries promptly.
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding the Contract Review procedure.
  • Send subcontract enquiries and communicate with external agents where required.
  • Maintain the RFQ (Request for Quotation) Log and manage subcontract enquiries in line with agreed deadlines.
  • Produce official quotations using Sage 50 Accounts, obtain approval via Adobe Sign, and submit quotations to customers.
  • Electronically file all related documentation in accordance with the company's Document & Data Control procedures.
  • Attend weekly production meetings and follow up outstanding actions from the RFQ Log.
  • Provide account management support to the Business Development Manager as required.
  • Assist with general office administration, including answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, and supporting colleagues across the business.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a sales support, sales administration, or customer service role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Experience using Sage 50 Accounts would be advantageous but is not essential.

A professional, positive, and team-oriented approach, is essential.
