Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:45 - 15:15 (42.5 hours per week)
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our clients team in Southend-on-Sea. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability and a great working environment.
As an HGV2 Driver, you will be responsible for operating vehicles to collect household waste and recycling, ensuring all duties are carried out safely and to a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive and operate Class 2 vehicles for household waste and recycling collections
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- Previous experience in waste or recycling operations is an advantage
