HGV Class 1 Night Driver Pay Rates Weekday Nights £18.00 per hour Weekends up to £20.00 per hour Weekly pay via PAYE. No umbrella companies drivers are paid directly through Millison Chase's PAYE payroll. The HGV Class 1 Night Trunking Role As an HGV Class 1 Night Trunking Driver , your duties will typically include: Night trunking between depots, RDCs and NDCs. Driving HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles. Depot-to-depot deliveries and collections. Completing daily vehicle and trailer safety checks. Safe coupling and uncoupling of trailers. Checking the fifth wheel is correctly locked and secure. Completing delivery and collection paperwork accurately. Reporting vehicle or trailer defects. Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely. Following Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time regulations. Maintaining professional standards at all delivery and collection points. Skills
