Duties/responsibilities:

  • Air or Road freight export operations.
  • Co-ordination with customers and overseas agents.
  • Door to door shipments.
  • Prepare and submit export customs entries on CDS.
  • Fully compliant in all freight/shipping procedures.
  • Monitor ETA and advise of any changes.
  • Updating customers with the status of their shipments.
  • Ensuring each Customer receives all required documentation.
  • Invoicing jobs in a timely manner.
  • Providing excellent customer services, dealing with queries and problem solving.
  • Building good rapport.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Proven track record Airfreight or Road Freight Export Operations.
  • CDS experience preferred, if not training will be provided.
  • Able to prioritize own workload but also be able to work as part of a team.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Customer services orientated.
  • Due to CAA & DfT legislation and the nature of this specific role DBS check covering the last 5 years.
  • Able to provide 5-year references with no unexplained gaps.

In Return:

  • Salary Band=28,000-£32,000.
  • Annual bonus.
  • Working schedule, Monday to Friday from 08:30am-to 17:00hrs or 09:00am-17:30hrs.
  • Holidays 28 days including bank holidays and pension.
  • Additional training will be provided.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Good working atmosphere with friendly team.
  • Other benefits to be discussed at interview stage.
