Permanent contract. Monday to Friday, late shift 13:00hrs-21:30hrs.
The job entails:
- Load and offload freight either manually or mechanically in accordance with respective handling procedures.
- Screening Cargo to DFT regulations using both X-ray and ETD.
- Place and retrieve freight in and from appropriate storage areas, accurately recording the storage location as necessary.
- Carry out bond checks and housekeeping duties as per customer requirements.
- Meeting tight deadlines and reporting to management.
- Collating documents and checking cargo manifests.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in airfreight warehousing.
- Ideally NXCT, COS, X-ray, and ETD trained.
- Strong manual handling skills and forklift operation.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a flexible approach.
- Good IT skills.
- Able to provide 5 year referencing and clean DBS.
