We are currently working with a Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation, with an enviable reputation, who are seeking to recruit an experienced AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT OPERATOR. The role is a full-time position to work as part of a busy and efficient AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT department where you will be responsible for handling all elements of AIRFREIGHT Imports/Exports for Global shipments.
Managing an Import/Export Airfreight file from start to finish. Duties will include:
- Execution of courier files
- Labelling cargo
- Liaising with Airlines and making reservations
- Arranging collections and deliveries
- Raising and producing all Airfreight Export Documentation
- Completing Export Customs Entries
- Raising invoices and billing out
- Resolving any customer service issues which may arise throughout the shipment
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AND 5 YEAR CHECKABLE WORK HISTORY IS REQUIRED. We are seeking an experienced AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT operator who has gained hands-on experience of working in freight forwarding operations and is conversant in all aspects of freight Imports/Exports.
