We are seeking to recruit a Warehouse FLT Operator for a Steel and Metal company based in Birmingham. The role is a Temp to Perm vacancy, and we are looking for someone wanting to step up to Warehouse Supervisor soon.
The role will include:
- Picking and packing orders
- Preparing orders for customers
- Loading and Unloading
- Putting stock away
- Stock counting and Goods In
- Operating the FLT
At times, we will require the successful candidate to drive the works van to deliver goods and orders to customers and/or collect goods from stockholders. Completing documents such as PODs is also required. Therefore, a full driving licence is required for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a Steel & Metals organisation as a Warehouse FLT Operator, with career progression to Warehouse Supervisor in the near future. Working as part of a small team (6-8 warehouse staff) and Machine/Saw Operators, Drivers, and Office staff, this is a great opportunity and can offer an immediate start.
