We are seeking a motivated and resilient Internal Sales Executive who has previous experience within a sales-oriented freight role. This is a key role suited to a proactive self-starter who thrives on building strong customer relationships and closing sales. Playing a vital part in driving new business, identifying growth opportunities, and acting as a trusted representative of the company’s freight services.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and online research.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing while also handling inbound sales enquiries.
- Work towards achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets with support from the wider team.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for road, sea, and air freight services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both prospective and existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
- Keep customer records and sales activity up-to-date within the CRM system.
- Proven experience in a target-driven indoor sales or telesales role within freight forwarding or the wider logistics sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
- Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
- Competency in using CRM software and maintaining accurate data.
- A self-motivated, results-driven approach with the ability to work independently.
