UK Transport / European Road Freight / Freight Forwarding / Groupage & Full Load
Seeking to recruit a ROADFREIGHT OPERATOR to join a small and busy team based in Coleshill. Our client provides road freight services throughout the UK and Europe and has a vacancy in their Import / Export division.
The day to day duties will include:
- Taking bookings and enquiries
- Obtaining rates from hauliers and network partners
- Booking freight
- Arranging collections and deliveries
- Creating running sheets and manifests
- Completing documentation
- Updating system and spreadsheets
- Speaking with customers via email and telephone
- Rescheduling deliveries and collections
- Liaising with the warehouse team for loading and unloading vehicles
- Billing out shipment files
The successful candidate will ideally have worked in UK Transport and or International Roadfreight and have experience managing the full process from start to finish, strong import / export experience along with experience with customs. Full training on systems available for the right candidate.
