This role will be based within a customer's premises. 12 MONTH FTC - Could become a permanent role. Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

We are currently working with a Global Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation, with an enviable reputation, who are seeking to recruit an experienced AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT OPERATOR. The role is a full-time position to work as part of a busy and efficient AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT department where you will be responsible for handling all elements of AIRFREIGHT Imports/Exports for Global shipments.

Managing an Import/Export Airfreight file from start to finish. Duties will include:

  • Execution of courier files
  • Labelling cargo
  • Liaising with Airlines and making reservations
  • Arranging collections and deliveries
  • Raising and producing all Airfreight Export Documentation
  • Completing Export Customs Entries
  • Raising invoices and billing out
  • Resolving any customer service issues which may arise throughout the shipment

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AND 5 YEAR CHECKABLE WORK HISTORY IS REQUIRED. We are seeking an experienced AIRFREIGHT IMPORT/EXPORT operator who has gained hands-on experience of working in freight forwarding operations and is conversant in all aspects of freight Imports/Exports.
