Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Export Operator to work for an established medium size freight forwarder.
The role is focusing on customer expectations, providing excellent customer service including customs clearances, quotes, arranging shipments and invoicing, along with good export experience as required for this role.
Role Involves:
·Keeping customers and suppliers updated and build relationships.
·Complete of start to finish Air Exports.
·Following strict and time sensitive SOPs to ensure compliance.
·Good focus on customer service externally and internally.
·Ensure invoicing and job costing are updated within the required timeframes.
·Month end department compliance.
·Customs entries.
·Work closely with line Manager to complete internal and external rate reviews.
·Remain customs and H & S compliant.
·Resolve queries from customers and suppliers.
·Ensure all reports are completed within the deadline.
Experience
·Good knowledge of start to finish of Air Exports.
·Cargo wise knowledge.
·Good MS office including Excel.
·Good customs clearance experience.
·Used to high level of customer service.
·Knowledge of Customs Tariff and Procedures.
·Good Negotiation skills.
·Organised.
·Result -oriented and driven to achieve goals and meet targets.
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Salary depends on experience.
