We are working with a Medium sized Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit an Air Export/Import Clerk working on a 4on 4off shift 7am-7pm.
Candidate will be responsible for processing shipments and all related activities from start to finish. Ideal experience will be in both Export & Imports however will train on other if only one, AOG knowledge essential
Role
· Deals directly with clients, customs, and agents to ensure quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world.
· Prepares documents necessary to complete export, Imports, and customs clearance process.
· Proper and correct billing and cost information for accurate invoicing and job costing.
· Communicate & correspond with other company branches and agents for customer satisfaction and ensure excellent service execution.
· Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customers requirement for the movement of freight.
· Knowledge of UK Import/export operations and regulations.
· Knowledge of AOG and other Time Critical Services/Solutions
· AOG experience
· Imports/ Exports Air
· Good IT skills.
· Previous time critical experience
· Good organisation, IT skills.
Salary up to £40k including shift allowance
Hours: 4on4off days 7am-7pm
