The Pricing Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Staines, with the option to work from home for part of the week. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining competitive freight and logistics quotations across different modes of transport and regions.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Analyzing carrier and supplier rates
- Updating internal pricing databases
- Ensuring that quotations reflect current market conditions and company margin requirements
The Pricing Executive will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and customer service teams to:
- Develop tailored pricing solutions
- Respond to rate requests in a timely manner
- Support tender submissions
The role also involves:
- Monitoring industry trends
- Maintaining strong relationships with carriers and agents
- Contributing to continuous improvement of pricing processes and tools
Qualifications:
- Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret rate structures and margin requirements
