We have an urgent requirement for a Warehouse Counterbalance FLT Operator to start ASAP and work on an ongoing basis. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 4.00pm – 12.00 Midnight, offering a salary of £15.95 per hour + Holiday Pay.
Based in Birmingham (B37), this position is working for a prestigious company in International Freight and joining an experienced Warehouse team. Responsibilities include:
- Handling international Import and Export Freight consignments
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Handballing and moving freight around the warehouse
- Loading and unloading shipping containers
- Checking Freight documentation and labels for freight arriving at the warehouse before unloading
- Performing all other general warehouse duties
The successful candidate will need to complete Airfreight security qualifications/certificates, which will be fully funded, and pass a 5-year checkable history and criminal record check. The role requires an experienced, confident, and competent FLT Warehouse Operator, who has a good level of literacy and English language skills. Candidates are required to have a valid FLT Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR).
