ONEPharmacy Assistant urgently needed to work within Antrim Area Hospital. The hours of work for this position will be Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with a rate of pay of £11.45 per hour and we are able to offer an immediate start. The main job duties of the role will be: To receive, check and shelve all pharmacy items To ensure that all delivery documentation is accurately receipted onto the JAC system and that documentation is endorsed and retained Preparation of the regular orders, removal of overstock and appropriate stock rotation / expiry day management To assemble and issue daily ward orders To assemble and supply IV fluids and procedure pack orders, issuing stock to users via the computer systems Monitor and maintain pharmacy stock levels within designated areas by regular bin maintenance and assistance in physical stock checks, identifying stock discrepancies and supply shortages. What we need from you: 5 GCSEs to include English & Maths (Grade A*-C) NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification, OR a willingness to undertake Level 2 Certificate in The Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support Staff Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
