Four Support Workers immediately required to work with young adults and children for our clients Children's Residential Home in Newtownards for young people aged 11-17 year olds.

Our client can offer the following full-time shifts for 3 months and will be reviewed for extension: days, long days and waking nights with a pay rate that ranges from Β£18.04 per hour to Β£22.49 per hour (depending on the shift) and enhanced rates for bank holidays.

Those in your care will have experienced difficult and challenging lives with varying degrees of trauma and as such, need support from individuals that are empathetic, patient and dedicated to helping them.

In the role you will be required to supervise and carry out specific duties as directed by management to ensure the safety of the young people and help with promoting their growth.

Candidates must be NISCC registered (or willing to apply), have experience of supporting vulnerable children and/or young adults and willing to undergo an Access NI check.

What We Need From You:

  • Experience working with children aged 7-18 years in a professional setting
  • Understanding of trauma informed practice
  • Basic IT Skills
  • Hold a full UK driving licence with no restrictions
  • NISCC Registered
  • Undergo an enhanced Access NI check
