We are currently recruiting for 5 Financial Assessment Officers to work with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, at their Daisy Hill Hospital Site. This is a Full-Time temporary position, initially required between 3 and 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Working hours will be Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, and will pay £12.75 per hour.
The main duties of the role will be to:
- Provide admin support to the Financial Assessors in the preparation and calculation of financial assessments, including preparation of letters, routine calculations, maintaining files, dealing with correspondence etc.
- Assist in the recovery of Trust income and expenditure, including calculating amounts due, generating invoices.
- Input transactions accurately to the systems including e-Financials.
- Receive, receipt and record remittances made to the Trust including cash, cheques, electronic transfers etc.
- Assist the Financial Assessor in preparing lodgements, including counting cash/cheques and reconciling to recorded receipts.
What We Need From You
- 4 GCSE’s grade C or above to include English and Maths plus 1 year administration experience.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
