First Choice are recruiting for a Milk Bank Technician based at the Children and Families Public Health Department in the South Western Acute Hospital. This is a temporary post until the end of August, with the possibility of extension. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional Sunday shifts on a rota basis with a pay rate of £12.75 per hour and £21.55 per hour on a Sunday.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the safe receipt, processing, and distribution of donor expressed breast milk. This is a vital role in ensuring vulnerable infants receive safe, high-quality nutritional support within a highly controlled clinical environment. You will be part of a team working at the intersection of neonatal care, food safety, and laboratory standards, helping maintain the integrity and safety of donor milk from receipt through to distribution.
