We are seeking two compassionate, reliable and dedicated Care Assistants to work on a temporary ad hoc basis for a period of 3 – 6 months. This role is to work for our client, a private care home based in Dungannon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents in a warm, person-centred environment while enjoying flexible working arrangements, with a pay rate of £13.50 – £17.50 per hour depending on the shift worked.

The hours of work required for the role is shift work and can range from 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8am-8pm, and 8pm-8am.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide high standards of personal care and support to residents
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including washing, dressing and mobility
  • Promote residents' dignity, independence and well-being at all times
  • Support residents with meals and hydration
  • Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered
What We Need From You:
  • Experience in Healthcare setting
  • To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
  • Willingness to complete all mandatory training courses
