In conjunction with our client, the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (SEHSCT), we are seeking two motivated and dedicated Dietitians to join the Medical and Surgical Dietetics teams based at the Ulster Hospital, with the possibility of providing cover at sites in Lisburn and Downpatrick. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality nutritional care to patients across a range of medical and surgical specialities.

Main Duties:

  • Assess and monitor the nutritional needs of medical and surgical patients
  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans
  • Identify and manage patients at risk of malnutrition
  • Provide dietary advice and education to patients and carers
  • Work as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy hospital setting while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role has an hourly rate of £15.88 – £19.78 per hour dependent on experience. Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. This is a minimum 3-month temporary role with potential of extension.

What We Need From You:

  • A recognised degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics
  • Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • To hold a valid UK driving licence, and access to a car daily
  • Minimum of 2 years post registration clinical experience in dietetics
