We are currently seeking a Cleansing Operative to work within SEHSCT, at the Central Sterile Services Department within Ulster Hospital, Dundonald. This is a part time, temporary position, working Monday - Friday 1700 - 2200, initially required for 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Pay Rate: £12.71

As a cleansing operative you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and sterilising dental and podiatry (foot care) equipment
  • Checking equipment against lists to ensure all items are accounted for
  • Using computerised systems to create and manage picking lists
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
  • Working as part of a team to support the day-to-day operation of the department

What We Need From You:

  • A minimum of 6 months' previous experience in a similar role
  • A good understanding of the English language, with the ability to read and follow picking lists
  • Computer literate, with the ability to use basic computer systems
