Residential Support Worker required to work within Cedargrove Children’s Home, Newry to assist looking after young people aged 10-18 years living in the residential home. This role will involve working alongside other team members to share the responsibility for the care and supervision of young persons within the home, assisting with daily activities, updating care plans and promoting independence where possible and encouraging self-support.
The post is for full-time hours and are on a rota basis including Day shifts, Night shifts and with weekends on rotation to last for 3 months with possible extension. Hourly rate is £14.06 – £22.49 depending on shift worked.
Experience working and engaging with young people is required and successful candidates must be NISCC registered and willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI Check prior to start date.
