First Choice Recruitment are currently recruiting Children's Residential Support Workers and Senior Support Workers for a care facility in Bangor, supporting children and young people aged 10-17 with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. The role offers 37.5 hours per week, working on a rota from Monday-Sunday, with a variety of shifts available depending on the needs of the service. Shifts include 7.15am-3pm, 2pm-10pm, 7.15am-10pm, waking nights and where required, a combination of long days, waking nights and sleep-in shifts. The pay rate ranges from Β£12.75 to Β£25.41 per hour, depending on the shift worked and banding level. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to the young people, promoting their independence and wellbeing, and assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, cooking and cleaning. They will also be required to follow individual care and behaviour support plans, maintain accurate records and work closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcome for the children and young people. CPI training is essential for the role; however, applicants whodo not currently hold the training may still be considered, as training can be provided prior to starting the position.
