First Choice Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Worker to join our clients team in their Residential Home based in Lurgan. The role is on a temporary basis, for 6 months with possible extension. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting older people and helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. The role involves covering both day and night shifts on an ad hoc basis and providing high-quality care and support to residents in a residential care setting. Rate of pay is £13.50 – £17.50 per hour depending on shifts worked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care and support to residents
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities
- Support residents with social and recreational activities
- Promote residents’ dignity, independence, and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns appropriately
- Work effectively as part of a dedicated care team
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures
What We Need From You:
- Previous experience in care setting
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- Be willing to undergo an Access NI check
- A caring, respectful, and professional approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible day and night shifts
- Commitment to delivering high standards of care
