First Choice Selection Services is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Moores Concrete for a Precast Setup Technician to join their expanding team in Broughshane. As a Precast Setup Technician, you will be responsible for reading technical drawings, preparing moulds and setups, positioning reinforcement and lifting components, and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Pay & Hours

  • £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Overtime paid at Time and a Half
  • Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare moulds and setups for precast concrete production.
  • Position reinforcement, lifting components, and inserts to specification.
  • Ensure required concrete finishes are achieved.
  • Liaise with the Technical Department to resolve any production or design issues.
  • Maintain adherence to daily production schedules and targets.
  • Complete all required production records and documentation.

What We Need From You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Construction or a related discipline, and/or a minimum of 3 years' experience in reading drawings and precast setup work.
  • Previous experience within construction, civil engineering, or a similar environment.
