We are looking two Support Workers for an immediate start to work at our client's Children's Residential Home located in Bangor.

You will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Sunday 22.45pm-8.00am. min hours per week 17.5 hours. This is a temporary position for 6 months with the possibility of extension, with a pay rate of Β£14.06-Β£22.49 per hour.

The young people who live in the home are 7-10 years of age who have experienced trauma. You will be required to supervise and carry out specific duties as directed to ensure the safety of the young people and help with promoting their growth.

Duties within the role will include:

  • Emotional and behavioural support
  • Supporting daily living activities
  • Driving Duties
  • Community access and engagement
  • Medication administration
  • Management of money
  • Multi-disciplinary working
  • Supporting young people to regulate their emotions

What We Need From You:

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • Qualifications will be waived where candidates can evidence and demonstrate working with young people in a professional capacity
  • NISCC registered
  • Experience working with children aged 7-18 years in a professional setting
  • Understanding of trauma informed practice
  • Basic IT skills
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with no restrictions
