We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Support Accountant to join a busy finance team based in Ballymena. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to progress within a rewarding role.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the Divisional Accountant in delivering financial management and business support to operational Directors, managers, clinicians, and budget holders. You will assist with financial reporting, budget management, analysis, and service planning to help ensure effective financial control.

Main Duties

  • Support effective financial control across allocated Directorates
  • Assist with monthly financial reports and budget monitoring
  • Produce financial analysis and reports to support decision-making
  • Support service developments, budget setting, and financial planning
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Help management teams assess risks and evaluate service changes
  • Assist with monthly financial assessments and performance reporting
  • Deputise for the Divisional Accountant when required

What We Need From You

  • Full membership of one of the five professional accounting institutes within CCAB or CIMA
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant finance experience at supervisory level
  • Full UK Driving License and access to a car for work purposes
