First Choice is currently recruiting a Finance Officer on behalf of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust, based in Ballymena. This full-time role is Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with a pay rate of £13.57 per hour. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a large public-sector organisation, supporting financial management, budgeting, and reporting across Trust services. The post is expected to last until May 2026, with the possibility of extension.
You will support the finance team with:
- Budget monitoring and financial reporting
- Variance analysis and investigating spend
- Maintaining and updating budget systems
- Providing financial support and guidance to budget managers
- Assisting with payroll and staffing cost adjustments
What we need from you:
- Finance, accounting, or budgeting experience
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
- Confident using Excel and financial systems
- Able to communicate financial information clearly
