Pharmacy Assistant is urgently required for Antrim Area Hospital. This temporary 6-month contract offers the possibility of extension depending on business needs and provides a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospital pharmacy environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Receiving, checking, and shelving pharmacy items
- Accurately recording delivery documentation on the JAC system
- Preparing regular orders, managing stock rotation, and monitoring expiry dates
- Assembling and issuing daily ward orders
What we need from you:
- Experience assisting pharmacists or pharmacy technicians
- Experience using computer systems for stock management
- Understanding of pharmacy operations, stock management, and medication handling
