Exciting opportunity for 3 Support Workers required in Newry with our Public Sector Client within their supported living units to assist with the daily operation of the unit. This role will include full-time hours each week on a rota basis for a minimum of 3 months with possible extension. There are a variety of Day Shifts and Night Duties available and shift times are 8am-8:15pm and 8pm-8:15am with a pay rate of £12.75-£21.55.
The job duties will require working with service users with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours, updating documentation, providing personal care, assisting with meals and encouraging self-support.
What We Need From You:
- Previous experience in Support Work
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- To attend all mandatory training courses
- Undergo an Access NI check
