We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team across several Northern Trust Adult Centre locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while working in a rewarding and supportive environment.

Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Contract: Minimum 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension

Available Locations:

  • Antrim Adult Centre
  • Magherafelt Adult Centre
  • Ballymena George Sloan Centre
  • Carrickfergus Hawthornes Adult Centre
  • Newtownabbey Drumross Adult Centre
  • Larne Adult Centre

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 3:30pm ideal for maintaining a great work-life balance.

About the Role: As a Support Worker within the Adult Centre setting, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Encouraging independence and personal development
  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities
  • Assisting with engaging activities and planned community day trips
  • Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive environment

This role is perfect for individuals who are caring, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting others to achieve their full potential.

Please note: An Enhanced Access NI check must be completed prior to your start date. Candidates must also hold 3 months experience in a Healthcare Setting with personal care (preferable with Learning Disabilities) and hold a NISCC Registration (or be willing to apply).
