Day Centre Support Workers required to work alongside our client the Belfast Trust. This post will be based at the Grove Day Centre, Belfast.
This position will be for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-4.30pm however part time hours may be considered. The rate of pay is £12.31 per hour.
In this role you will be working as part of a team to support older people (65+) with a range of physical/sensory and/or cognitive impairment which impacts on activities of their daily living which requires extra support to remain in the community. This is a sociable role where you will interact and provide support to the service users, assisting with activities within the centre and supervising outings.
What We Need from You
- Experience in a Healthcare Setting (preferable with Learning Disabilities)
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI
