Senior Care Assistant urgently required to join a welcoming 13-bed care home in Magherafelt, delivering high-quality nursing and dementia care. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit, supportive team where your experience and leadership will be highly valued, allowing you to make a genuine difference to residents' quality of life every day.

This position involves a mixture of day shifts and sleepover shifts, with flexibility required to work on a rota basis between Monday and Sunday. Medication refresher training will be provided prior to your start date, if required.

Pay Rates:

  • £15.50 - £20.00 per hour, depending on the shift worked
  • £75.00 per sleepover shift

Your Role:

  • Administer medication during medication rounds
  • Supervise and support Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care
  • Provide person-centred personal care and support to residents
  • Update, implement, and monitor individual care plans
  • Promote residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to ensure excellent standards of care

What We Need From You:

  • 6 Months previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant
  • Medication trained before starting the role (essential)
  • A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
