First Choice are currently recruiting for 3 Seasonal General Attendants, required to work with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council across a number of areas including Downpatrick, Rostrevor, and Kilkeel. These are temporary posts, required for a period of 4 months, but may be extended based on monthly performance reviews. These posts will cover a range of hours, therefore each applicant must be fully flexible between Monday and Sunday, including evenings. The pay rate is £13.63 per hour.
Main duties:
- Instruct and supervise the public at all times ensuring safe and orderly usage and visitor satisfaction is maintained.
- Prevent unauthorised activities and comply with Management procedures and Council Bye-Laws.
- Collect and ensure the safety of monies in accordance with procedures, and disseminate information and prepare and maintain records/reports.
- Report defects and undertake general maintenance, cleaning duties, security/safety checks and emergency action/repairs.
What We Need From You:
- 4 GCSEs all grade C or above to include English and Maths.
- At least 1 year relevant experience in a customer facing role working with the public.
- Willing to undertake an Access NI check.
- Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative.
