Pharmacy Assistant urgently required for Antrim Area Hospital. This temporary 6-month contract offers the possibility of extension depending on business needs and provides a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospital pharmacy environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Receiving, checking, and shelving pharmacy items
- Accurately recording delivery documentation on the JAC system
- Preparing regular orders, managing stock rotation, and monitoring expiry dates
- Assembling and issuing daily ward orders
What We Need From You:
- 5 GCSEs (Grades A-G) or equivalent, to include English Language and Mathematics Grade C or above
- The successful candidate(s) may be required to undertake the following Pharmacy Assistant training course: Pearson Level 2 Certificate in The Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support Staff
